Cody Willard, the author of Revolution Investing on MarketWatch has written a bestseller that every investor needs to read: Everything You Need to Know About Investing in Gold and Silver. Willard’s book is namely about the reason why everyone HAS to remain invested in gold, silver, etc.
His starting point is that the markets are being manipulated at the moment on a large scale by the central banks that are trying to force their will onto the world with their big bag of tricks. As a result, the prices and exchange rates we see are not the ones we should be seeing.
The central banks, and especially the Federal Reserve, have flooded the financial system with fresh cash they harvested out of thin air. The fact that this printed money was not backed up by something of actual value did not bother anyone, since the Fed tried to artificially revive the US economy.
Gold & Silver Will Always Be A Safe Haven
Nevertheless, most investors took the bait and in fact most of them still are. According to Willard, however, the central banks with the Federal Reserve in the lead will fall on their faces at one point. When that happens the eyes of most investors will finally open to the fact that the markets were fooled.
This brings us to the core of Cody Willard’s argument. Physical gold and silver need to be the cornerstone of every investment portfolio, because only hard assets like precious metals will stand the test of time. And time is the last important piece of this magnificent puzzle.
The question is, namely, how long investors are still going to believe what the central banks are telling them. According to Willard, the price of gold, silver, and other precious metals will go through the roof at one point and that will all happen while stocks, bonds, etc. will fall through the floor.
